Hello. I am SHU, a staff member who is crazy about Asian food. I always want another serving of pak choi, so I like to have the whole stalks on my desk beforehand.
Well, today I would like to introduce you to Horiuchi Chicken Rice.
Whenever I passed by the restaurant at lunch time, there were always many people waiting, so I had to give up.
But! As it happened, there were no people waiting that day. I had no choice but to go to “Horiuchi Chicken Rice,” which I had longed for.
Once you step into the restaurant, you will feel the Asian atmosphere! This tropical feeling, with its unique spices scented inside the restaurant, reminds me of those days.
MENU
- Hainan Chicken Rice (Singapore) – Spicy Miso Sauce
- Khao Mangai (Thailand) – sweet sauce made with nukumam
- Com Ga (Vietnam) ~ two kinds of sweet chili sauce and miso sauce
These are the three typical menu items above. It seems that the names of the menus are different depending on the sauce.
Everything is the same except for the sauce.
I ordered the Thai Khao Mangai. The sauce was quite spicy and the rice went down a treat.
The restaurant is perfect for those who love to travel, as they have a counter displaying a guidebook to each country.
The a la carte menu was also very tantalizing, and I can’t wait to come back for another drink!
They also had Orion beer, so I recommend it to anyone who wants to feel the tropics.
